President of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference
Reverend Samuel Rodriguez was nominated by TIME magazine for their “100 Most Influential People in the World” list in 2013, and his description of the Latino faith community emerged as their April 15, 2013, cover story. The Wall Street Journal identified him as one of America’s most influential Hispanic leaders, and Charisma magazine identified him as America’s most influential Spirit-filled Christian leader in the political sphere.
Sammy is the president of the National Hispanic Christian Leadership Conference. He also currently serves on the board of directors of some of America’s leading evangelical organizations, such as Gordon-Conwell Theological Seminary, National Association of Evangelicals, Empowered21, Pentecostal Charismatic Churches of North America, Liberty Counsel, and Christianity Today. He is the author of The Lamb’s Agenda and Path of Miracles and earned his master’s degree in educational leadership from Lehigh University. He is the recipient of two honorary doctorate degrees: a doctor of ministry from the Baptist University of the Americas and a doctor of law from Northwest University. He’s been an ordained Assemblies of God minister since the age of 23. On January 20, 2017, he became the first Latino Evangelical and the first Assemblies of God minister to participate in a presidential swearing-in ceremony. Samuel also serves as senior pastor of New Season Christian Worship Center in Sacramento, California, where he resides with his wife, Eva, and their three children.Register
